These are really monumental situations on austrian imprint Vernacular Records: Ranieri shows us again that he knows how to produce real underground Techno. "Monumental Situations" is a track with a forward-going beat and a very hypnotic melody. The break is filled with a retro 303-bassline and raises atmosphere to higher levels. "Seven" is a very deep and dark sounding Techno track. The kick and the groove cannot be deeper - very minimalistic - very dark! "Microsleep" is a very interesting rhythm-experiment. The track has a 3/4 rhythm - sounds like a nonstop ongoing clockwork. Breaks are very minimalistic and rhythms get changed constantly! Very experimental, but danceable! Overall another nice, dark Techno release by Ranieri!
